League Affiliation
ARC have recently negotiated improved terms for the insurance of league races. The improved terms apply to closed races where entry is confined to members of clubs affiliated to the league.
Races must comply with ARC minimum standards for road or cross country as applicable. The race promoter must perform a comprehensive risk assessment.
Leagues must affiliate to ARC as Associate Members. Affiliation fee £10. Complete the Associate Member affiliation form but pay just £10. Leagues should apply to ARC online for a permit for each of their races. Initial fee £25 for each race. At the end of the season Leagues will make a return for all races insured providing numbers competing in each event.
Additional fees will be payable for races promoted by clubs not affiliated to ARC.
This is a response from ARC to increasing pressure on league organisers from England Athletics to impose compulsory athlete registration.
